Rex Adebanjo is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ringcash Inc., the global advertising rewards platform built entirely around the subscriber — returning more of every advertiser dollar directly to the people watching than any other platform in the world, and more than double what Meta or Google pays out.

A venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and attorney with three decades of experience building companies and advising institutions across Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Rex founded Ringcash to correct a structural injustice in the attention economy: for twenty years, advertising platforms have profited from consumer attention without sharing the proceeds with the people giving it.

Before Ringcash, Rex was Managing Director of Rearden Capital IMG, a New York-based venture incubator and Delaware LLC that founded and scaled some of Africa's most innovative commercial enterprises — including Starsight Energy, recognised by the Financial Times as the #1 fastest-growing energy and renewables company in Africa in 2022 and #6 overall; Atlas Tower Management Services, a telecom infrastructure provider; What If Hub; and Concrete Records.

Earlier in his career, Rex practised corporate law at Davis Polk & Wardwell, Clifford Chance, and Sidley Austin — three of New York's leading international law firms.

Rex holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, an LL.B. from the University of Buckingham, England, and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, New York, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Articles Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.
